1. Who we are
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CrayonCity website at crayoncity.dev and of Crayon Board, the AI whiteboard tutor at board.crayoncity.dev and a product of CrayonCity (together, the "Service").
The Service is provided by Crayon City LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States, which trades under the name CrayonCity ("CrayonCity", "we", "us"). You can contact us at support@crayoncity.dev or on WhatsApp at +880 1779 418015, or see our Contact page.
By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, buying credits or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Purchases and payment
You buy your subscription directly from Crayon City LLC, trading as CrayonCity. We are the seller of record and handle all customer service enquiries and refunds ourselves.
Card payments are processed on our behalf by Stripe, which also calculates any applicable sales tax or VAT at checkout and emails your receipt. Stripe is our payment processor only; your contract for the Service is with us. We never see or store your full card details.
Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude tax unless stated. Any sales tax or VAT due in your country is added at checkout and shown before you pay.
Paid plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked on the pricing page, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for.
You must accept these Terms and our Refund Policy before completing a purchase.
3. The Service
Crayon Board is software that generates spoken, illustrated classes on a topic you choose, using artificial intelligence (AI) models. It is delivered online. No physical goods are shipped and no human tutoring is included.
We may improve, change or stop features of the Service at any time. If we permanently shut Crayon Board down, we will refund the unused part of your current paid month, as described in the Refund Policy.
4. Accounts
- You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for everything done through it.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account and subscribe to a plan. A child may use Crayon Board's kids mode only under the supervision of a parent or guardian who holds the account.
- One person may not create multiple accounts to collect extra free credits.
5. Plans, credits and top-ups
Crayon Board is used through plans. Each plan includes a number of credits each month, and classes are paid for in credits. Current plans, prices, what each includes and what a class costs in credits are shown on the Pricing page in the app, and you are shown the cost of a class before you start it.
- Sign-up credits. A new account is given a small number of credits once, so you can try the Service without paying. They are not added again each month.
- Paid plans are subscriptions. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; you keep your plan until the end of the month you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
- Top-ups. Where they are offered, you can buy extra credits as a one-off payment. A top-up does not renew. Top-up credits are used after your plan's monthly credits and do not expire at the end of the month.
- Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you before it applies, and the new price takes effect only from your next renewal. You can cancel before then. If we change what things cost in credits, the new costs apply only to classes you start afterwards.
- Using credits. Credits are taken when a class starts, and for extras you choose, such as a longer class, a premium voice, the Expert tutor, web research or questions beyond the free ones included with a class. If a class fails to start, or stops early because of a fault on our side, its credits are given back automatically.
- Monthly reset and roll-over. Your plan's credits are renewed at the start of each monthly period. Unused credits carry over only where your plan says so, and only up to the limit shown on the Pricing page. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold.
- Gift codes. Gift or promotional codes add credits on top of your plan. They have no cash value, cannot be refunded, transferred or sold, and may be withdrawn if they were obtained by abusing the Service.
6. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, hateful, sexually explicit or harassing, or to create content that impersonates a real person;
- upload images or documents you do not have the right to share, or that contain other people's personal data without their permission;
- try to get around plan limits, usage limits or security, or reverse engineer, scrape or overload the Service;
- resell, sublicense or give third parties paid access to the Service.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. If we close your account for a serious breach, your plan ends and unused credits are forfeited, to the extent the law allows.
8. AI-generated content
Classes are generated automatically by AI and can contain mistakes. Crayon Board is for general learning only. It is not professional advice (for example, medical, legal or financial advice), and you should check important facts with reliable sources.
You may use the classes generated for you for your own personal learning. The Crayon Board software, design and brand remain ours.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of the topics, questions, drawings and files you submit. You give us permission to process them only to run the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Availability and liability
We work to keep the Service available and working, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. None of this limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Closing your account
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@crayoncity.dev. Cancel any paid plan first so it does not renew; payments can be refunded only as described in the Refund Policy.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will show a notice on the website or in the app before it takes effect. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in the country where you live.
